Garden design

Gardens are often devided into two groups: the formal and informal garden. Many times it's difficult to distinguish between those two groups. So let's discuss here the informal garden! The so called Woodland garden is a good example of an informal garden and is often built within an existing canopy of trees. When you use interlocking pavers then you can create paths through this artificial woodland! Next the open spaces you can fill it with plants or ferns. To make it more beautiful, build a small pond or running stream in order to complete your forest look garden. TIP - Use a garden marker for your plants, flowers, bushes or shrubs in order to organize your garden!

There are so many other type of gardens that fall as well within the informal classification. For example, the container garden is a name of a garden where the beds are replaced by containers such as large vases. This garden is used where your garden space is limited or when you want to make a garden out of a paved over area such as a patio.

The wildflower garden is another informal garden. As the name explains we talk here about a garden with wildflowers and grow often in a mixed disarray. You can use a fence to separate the garden from your surrounding lawn. Also here it's a great to organize your flowers using a plant label, also other people visiting you can have a look at your labels and read what the names are of the flowers in your garden.
